呈獻專題展覽「旅人：趙無極、朱德群、曾海文作品展」，共展出七至八件作品，包含趙無極、朱德群的珍貴石版畫，以及曾海文的重要油畫及紙本原作。1948至1951年間，年少的趙無極、朱德群、曾海文相繼留學旅居法國，因而接觸到西方現代主義各流派，並各自尋根探索，發展出融合了西方抽象主義與中國傳統精神的抒情抽象繪畫風格，成為享譽世界的抽象繪畫大師。為致敬這三位出生於1920年代並曾留居法國的華人藝術大師及抒情抽象繪畫的重要代表，同時紀念朱德群一百週年誕辰，此次展覽構成了一場藝術家之間的有力對話。
CURATOR Art & Café will present Le Voyageur showcasing seven to eight works including valuable editioned lithographs by Zao Wou-Ki and Chu Teh-Chun, as well as original paintings by T'ang Haywen. Between 1948 and 1951, these artists had traveled to France successively for study, and later decided to stay there for the rest of their lives. Because of this, they had been exploring their Chinese roots while influenced by different Western modern art groups, hence developed a unique style of modern abstract expressionism blending the East and the West. To celebrate their position as the giants of Chinese art from the same early period of 20th century in France, as well as commemorating the centenary of Chu Teh-Chun’s birth, this exhibition will trigger a powerful dialogue between them.
